Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or “tapping” is an alternative therapy for emotional distress and physical pain. EFT works well alongside Reiki to deepen your body’s healing and reinforce the movement of energy. It also works well alongside NLP to reinforce the unconscious repatterning that has taken place.
The EFT practice involves tapping your fingertips on specific meridian points (energy pathways similar to those used in acupuncture) while focusing on a prevalent negative emotion you are experiencing. When you experience a negative emotion, a disruption of your body’s energy occurs, which is likely an ongoing pattern in your body. When you tap on the meridian points, while concentrating on accepting, resolving and releasing the negative emotion, signals are sent to the part of your brain that controls stress. In this way, the stress and/or physical symptoms, along with the accompanying underlying emotional patterns which have likely been present since early on, can be drastically reduced or eliminated.

AN EFT SESSION
The EFT tapping session is a training session where you will first be shown how to use tapping (where the tapping points are and the thought that accompanies the tapping) and then will be taken through the process to address a particular emotion. By the end of the session, you will be able to use it whenever and wherever you want, as issues and emotions arise. It gives YOU the power to heal yourself.
It usually takes the body and its neurology a little time getting used to this practice. Therefore, the more you perform EFT, the more benefits you will experience as your neurology becomes accustomed to the tapping.
